There are several charitable organizations in Haiti involved currently in working on building schools for children, providing them with monetary assistance, shelter, clothing, medicines as well as providing them necessary school supplies, however their resources are limited, and often the little money they collect is not enough to support their cause. The vast majority of children in Haiti remain in dire need of assistance. There is never enough aid around to fill the requirements and provide for the entire child population.

Each and every Haitian child in need qualifies for assistance from Timoun Lakay.

Any Haitian child living in Haiti and the U.S. who is disadvantaged, orphaned and/or living in less than standard conditions, is eligible to receive aid and benefit from the organization’s services.

Through fundraising, private donations, drives and other community events, Timoun Lakay collects food, clothing, school supplies and money and turns the collected goods over to qualifying and established organizations, orphanages, schools, and hospitals that in turn ensure proper allocation and distribution to the children.
